Work part-time or full-time based on YOUR needs. This position will be a 100% remote (providing teletherapy sessions only) with the possibility of future in person sessions. YOU have autonomy. You have complete control over your schedule without the hassles and responsibilities of operating or managing billing and insurance. Nala Counseling & Wellness is a private group practice providing mental health services in Austin, as well as the entire state of Texas, and New Mexico.
We are seeking dedicated therapists with a commitment in growing with the practice and a community driven spirit. This position is for a 1099, independent contractor with the added supports of referrals, advertising, initial intake scheduling, insurance benefit verification, billing, client appointment reminders, and use of a HIPPA compliant platform (Simple Practice) to conduct your Tele-health sessions. Competitive pay, commensurate with experience.
- Percentage split of gross income received for services provided at 55%
REQUIREMENTS
- Fully licensed Mental Health Provider in the states of Texas or New Mexico (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist) in good standing
- Able to conduct a confidential telehealth session remotely with proper technology
- Able to develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with warmth and directness
- Malpractice Insurance
- Established LLC or set up after hire
- Private practice minded (independent worker, dependable, organized, good time management)
- Committed to personal growth, continuing education and professional development
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) and a CAQH profile.
In addition, as a 1099, independent contractor you will be required to: pay your own federal, self employment taxes, along with carrying your own malpractice insurance. You will supply your own internet access, laptop/computer, office space if conducting in person session. Ideally, you will already be credentialed with some insurance companies however, not required (credentialing process can take anywhere from 30-120 days)
